Laura Dunlop QC has given two talks this month before large audiences. On 8 March, Laura spoke to a conference of lawyers, medics and local authority personnel on issues around guardianship and deprivation of liberty of adults with incapacity. It was in Glasgow City Chambers, with about 160 people.
On 22 March, Laura gave a talk to around 300 on discrimination against women in the legal profession, from the perspective of the Bar. That was the Scottish Public Law Group - Lady Hale, Neil Stevenson of the Law Society and Professor Rosa Greaves head of the law school at Glasgow University were the other speakers.
